Together, they create a fuller record of the day. The clean, intentional frames. The imperfect flash photos. The soft grain. The motion. The atmosphere. My goal is not to make everything look the same, but to preserve the wedding in a way that feels alive, stylish, and true to how it happened.

Let's embark on a

BEAUTIFUL JOURNEY

I photograph weddings with both digital and analog cameras because each medium sees the day differently. Digital gives me speed, precision, and the ability to move through a wedding with instinct. Film slows everything down. It adds texture, imperfection, softness, and a sense of memory that cannot be fully recreated.

Your final gallery and films are edited with care, consistency, and feeling. The result is a complete record of the day, from the quiet in-between moments to the celebration that carried late into the night.

On the day itself, my approach is calm, observant, and intentional. I document what naturally unfolds while gently guiding when needed, balancing real moments with clean, editorial composition.

We begin with a conversation about your wedding, your priorities, and the feeling you want the day to have. From there, I help shape a photography and film collection around the location, timeline, and pace of the celebration.

From the first discovery call to the delivery of your final gallery, every step is designed with you in mind. Our mission is to make you feel at ease and create an experience that you’ll treasure as much as the photos themselves.

HOW WE DO IT

I'm based in San Clemente, California and regularly photograph weddings throughout Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Palm Springs, and beyond. I'm also available for destination weddings and travel wherever the story takes us.

Yes. I shoot a mix of digital and film. Each medium brings something different to the final story — digital for clarity and consistency, film for texture, imperfection and nostalgia.

Wedding photo galleries are typically delivered within 6–7 weeks. Wedding films take longer because of the editing process, story structure, audio, music, color, and the overall care required to make the final piece feel right. Main films are typically delivered within 4–5 months.

A wedding needs both. Most of the day is documented naturally as it unfolds, but I'll step in when direction is needed — portraits, family photos, bridal party, and moments where clean composition matters. The goal is to make the posed images feel effortless and the candid images feel intentional.

Calm, honest, and low-pressure. I'm not there to turn your wedding into a photoshoot. I'm there to help the day flow, give direction when it matters, and document the real energy of the people around you. The experience should feel easy, present, and true to you.

Wedding collections are built around the coverage, location, and combination of photo, film, Super 8, and additional services needed. Most couples invest between $6,000 and $12,000+ depending on the scope of the day. For a custom quote, send over your date, venue, and what you're looking for.

I approach weddings with a mix of documentary instinct and editorial taste. I'm looking for atmosphere, movement, emotion, style, family, and the small moments that make the day feel alive. The goal is not just pretty photos. It's a body of work that feels honest, cinematic, and impossible to fake.

Start by sending an inquiry with your wedding date, location, and what you're looking for. If I'm available, I'll send over collection details and we can set up a quick call. To officially reserve the date, I require a signed agreement and retainer.

How to Photograph the Reception

Why Flash Belongs at the Wedding

A reception should feel alive. Direct flash, motion, contrast, champagne, sweat, and imperfect light all work together to tell the truth of the night. The goal is not to make the party look perfect, but to make it feel exactly how it felt.

Flash has a way of making a wedding feel alive. It brings out the movement, the style, the champagne, the sweat, and the late night energy that natural light can miss. Used with restraint, it turns the party into something cinematic without making it feel staged.

The best wedding photographs are not always the obvious ones. They happen in motion, in passing, and in the small seconds between what was planned. A dress being gathered, a hand reaching back, the quiet chaos before the next part of the day begins.
